Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to have coffee at Starbucks with Pastor Dane, Pastor James and Rick Thompson the Lead Pastor of Life Point Church which meets in the Paloma Creek Elementary School. I left there so excited and charged up about what God has in store for the 380 Corridor. God is using not only COC but Life Point as well as other ministries on the Corridor to make a difference in people’s lives.
Understand, I grew up in an era and mindset that the church down the street was competition to the church I attended. I can even remember getting into some pretty intense moments with other churches while at all places, church camp. It is so refreshing to fellowship and share conversation with other area Pastors who truely care about each other and about our individual ministries.
This coming Friday morning at 6:30 a.m. I will be attending the first ever monthly 380 Corridor Pastor’s Prayer & Fellowship meeting at Savannah Life Church. Again, it is really cool to see Pastors come together to pray for each other and the homes on this corridor. I am convinced that this kind of spirit and attitude releases God’s Spirit to have freedom to work not only through our individual ministries but also in us personally.
Always remember our enemy is not each other...it is the evil one who would love to destroy every single work of God in our communities. May we be challenged to pray not only for COC but every ministry that is preaching the true message of Jesus on our Corridor.
Week 2 of the Home Repo went great. I enjoyed looking at The Hallway ~ Communication. Remember to use words that build others up not ones that tear them down. I look forward to Week 3 as we look at The Hall Closet. See you there.
Continue to pray and invite people to be added to the COC TEAM. Have a great week and I’ll see you Saturday, April 19th at Savannah Elementary School. Set up starts at 3 p.m. and Worship begins at 5 p.m.
