Well that most loved day of the year for me is quickly approaching. Just a little over seven days from now my family will gather with other family members and count our blessings, enjoy each other's fellowship and of course remember those who were with us last Thanksgiving but are not with us this year. For us this year it is Sarah's mom, Margaret.
We all knew last year that it would probably be the last Thanksgiving with her but the reality of that really didn't sit in for me until today as I realized how quick this year has passed. It seems like yesterday was May 25th and I got that call from Sarah that Margaret had gone home to be with the Lord but wow now its seven weeks until the end of the year. Where does the time go?
So with that in mind take full advantage to enjoy those loved ones this Thanksgiving and Christmas season and count your blessings even if your only blessings this year is each other....that is ENOUGH!
I will be taking next week off in the blog department for the holiday so I will see you the last week of November. Have a great Thanksgiving and don't eat too much....and oh yea, GO COWBOYS!
