Super Sports Spectacular was just that.....SUPER!

When we set out with the vision to offer a three night Summer Bible Club I had a similar feeling I had when I had my 12th birthday party.  We had gone through a lot of work, planning and preparation hoping people would come.  Well, SSS, was just like that.  We had worked hard, planned for the crowds, recruited many volunteers and prayed that the people would come.  And guess what...they did!  Wow, what a great group of grade school kiddos and volunteers we had this past week as we learned what it takes to be on God's Team.  We averaged right at 90 kids and right at 30 volunteers each and every night.  We had a great time learning and laughing with the kids of our communities.  Thanks to all of you who got out of the box and poured your life into these future leaders of not only our nation but our church.  No doubt...treasures were laid up in Heaven last week.  Thanks to our Children's Pastor, Brian Holt, and his wonderful assistant (WIFE), Amy.  We couldn't have done this without your vision and direction.  Thanks to all the volunteers who gave of their time and talents to minister to these precious kids.  We, as a church, look forward to next year as we celebrate Jesus with the kids of our communities.
